The Kingdom of Lorendale is ruled by a dying king. With no wife, and, consequently, no heir apparent, the king is preparing to select his replacement from candidates vying for his favor.
All the while, the enslaved magic-users of the Kingdom are gaining traction in their own campaign for the throne. Four nieces and nephews of the king. Four potential heirs. Only one throne. This is HEIR APPARENT.
