LF RP Buddy - Open to all RP Ideas!

Definitely going for an elf or half elf and i'll stick to female. I like that idea that we should start one character each then add more characters as needed. With a fantasy realm we will most certainly need them. 

Of course it's okay, I was actually expecting to play a male character but its refreshing that I don't have to! I'm going to make a magic user for sure, probably some sort of darker magic like necromancy but if that's where you wanted to go I can spin it in a different direction. As far as their relationship they don't have to have any. I like the idea that circumstance throws them together.

I figure the demonic horde would've started in Daens because there's a crack that connects the two worlds. Hopefully that makes sense because my brain is running low on energy at the moment.

So my next question! Is there a template for character profiles? Also is there anywhere to post RP-specific information? Like if someone wanted to join in on our RP we should probably have a quick reference guide with the kingdoms, races, etc. Just a thought.

Cool! I'll go for a non-magic character ^^ Yes I agree that they don't know each other yet. I've opened up a topic on the 'RP Plaza'. There we can share the map, create a summary and put a link to characters. Great map by the way! I'll add summary later and link to characters.


I don't have a template, but we can stroll around some other boards to find a suitable one?

That looks wonderful! Might need to custom a section for skills / abilities but otherwise I love it. I had a few ideas about the countries that i'll post below and you can tell me yay or nay. Also you don't have to restrict your character to non-mage, I'm doing a combination character and if you want you can do the same. 

Are we using fantasy art or real life PBs? I'd prefer fantasy art simply because it's near impossible to find someone elf-y but if you want to real life i'll drag out my shop skills I suppose!

Otherwise I believe we are good to go! I'll start working on a profile today.

Ideas for countries:
Theise ~ moderate climate, main human city. It probably has a larger population of humans but also serves as a trading hub for the other races given its location. Theise is ruled by three prominent wealthy families that each watch over a portion of its lands.  

Liore ~ warmer climate, home to elfs, and fae creatures. Somewhat at odds with Theise over some vague territorial dispute. Liore's elfs have a counsel of elders that often vote on important matters but no actual leader.

Daens ~ Where 'the break' fueling the demon armies resides. Only poor farmers live here save a leader-appointed guard that was sent to fight the unyielding hordes. A few lesser noble lords technically own these territories.

Mosca ~ Dwarf home land. Modest, with lots of mines and a hot temperature. I imagine the dwarves keep to themselves. The dwarven society, while they have a royal family and nobility, usually puts important matters to vote among the nobility with no one vote weighing more than the other.

Voss ~ Orcs / Dark Elfs. Cold, dark, and not very welcoming of guests given the residents. Most of the dark elf cities are underground and the orcs hold their clan wars above ground. Orcs follow a clan system; the strongest get the most say. The dark elfs follow the rule of their Queen without question.

If there's anything you want to add/correct then by all means do so. Then we can add this up to the thread and I think that'll cover it all. BTW I hope you have fun at your party tonight (:

I would also opt for using fantasy art over real life, so we're on the same page. I'll create a topic for our characters and then as soon as I get done in the gym, i'l start crafting up a character of my own ^^ Luckily I didn't drink to much yesterday so still feel fine enough to go to the gym and have braincells left for character and RP xD
